Sports...Teams...Football Players...

To be on a team, you have to give up A TON of sweat, time, and heart. Not only the players, but the coaches too.

To be a sports fan, you simply just have to have money, if you GO to the games, and like the team. BUT GOOD fans are usually supportive, and give motivation. Who can be motivated by explicit words, and phrases like, "You SUCK," "What are you thinking?" etc.

Have you ever tried to play a sport in front of a stadium of people, including those watching on the television? That's pressure! You feel bad enough to your team for making a mistake, but now to have your "fans" yell and boo at you.

Its one thing to be disappointed, but still, have some sportsmanship! or don't call yourself a fan.




At the game, This somewhat elderly woman and her looked to be husband were watching the game. Every time the Spartans made a mistake, they made sure they were yelling or chewing out that player. The players obviously could not hear them, but still, they were quick to point out their mistakes, and for what? Were those "FANS" there all summer when they were training, sweating for the game they love? Were they even at the sidelines every practice, coaching them on how to get better?

Fans need to support and let the coach do the coaching




BUT OVERALL i had a GREAT time :)

sorry its been so long since i've updated, I am now in a traveling soccer team, and will soon be playing Basketball. our team is 2-1-3 and i play for Fruitport Fire. We are pretty good, when we push ourselves, but as you can see we play to their level and keep tieing our oppopnets. I am playing a whole new position and its not too bad, but as Defense i now cannot score :( lol

finally

so I found this app and can now upload posts from my iPod!!!!

so my coach left yesterday for Chicago then Texas after 1 last soccer scrimmage. :(. we gave him a Manchester United jersey with his name and number on it. he liked that a lot. he is going to stop by just to play soccer on July 20, I can't wait!!!! he is deff. the best coach ever! we grew close as a team, he even gave us personalized letters, he was awesome.

I had my first drive today, I luckily didn't kill tori. and some people need to keep there kids out of the road!

DUCKIES

I GOT A PET DUCK. yeah thats right a PET DUCK!
so i've been trying to get my parents to let my have a duck and they finally said yes. SO we went to the store tonight and you know the right one when you see it, you just like idk, KNOW. so yeah i found mine and put it in a box to take home and it started chirping like CRAZY. so the guy is like, "just put another one in there to see how it acts and BAM silence. so we actually got 2. Mine is named Puddlez. Kaylyn and Libby got one to share, but they have to decide on a name because they keep switching it. ANYWAYS. They are mega cute, and i will continue to post videos and pictures so you can keep up with them.

BOOK REVIEW

The book? House of Dark Shadows, by Robert Liparulo. It is the first book in the Dreamhouse Kings series. It was very good. It's about the King Family, they move from L.A to Pinedale. They move into a old fixer-upper house surrounded by woods, and find out fast that its not all smiles. When they enter the house they find big prints in the dirt on the flooring. Xander, the oldest boy, relizeases sounds don't come from the right direction. While Xander and his younger brother are exploring they go into a closet and end up in a locker in their new school. The first night there, they find a man in there house. The next day they lock up everywhere not knowing how he managed to get in. During the night the two boys go wandering through the house, to find a hallway with portals to deathly places. The places are from long ago, and far away places. It is soon becoming his worst nightmare.

I liked this book. It kept you on your toes, and was very suspensful. It did get kinda creepy though, some of the different things that happened, and how different things matched up from the past was really weird. It jumped right into the action from the start. Which was nice, but it didn't explain much. You really have to read the whole book for it to all tie together. There was a big let down in the end, which will make you read the second book in the series, Watcher in the Woods. This book is directed to teens, and Robert Liparulo, the author, did a very nice job. This book tested the boys faith to bring them through to the end. The events that happen sperate the families relations but bring them all closer in the end, when they need to work toether in oder to save one of their family members

SO yeah, as most of you know our school got laptops. SO i posted a blog about half of the stuff i will discuss today and hit PUBLISH NOW, AND BAM, can't display this page blah blah blah so i didin't work ANYWAYS


Soccer

• 16 AMAZING girls
• we have the most AMAZING COACH
• Coach kidwell is the best coach I have ever had. NO JOKE. ask anyone on the team. we all love him.
• We have won 1 game, tied one game, lost one game. NOT INCLUDING OUR TOURNAMENT GAMES.
• At the coopersville tournament we took 2nd. we lost to Hamilton, who we beat 4 days earlier.
• I LOVE OUR TEAM.
• OH. . and I LOVE OUR TEAM. lol

• I got pulled up to varsity for 3 scrimmages on a saturday, that was fun.
• Dani Snyder, Kaitlyn Eisen, and I made captains for our team.
• Kaitlyn hurt her ank;le but is starting to play again.
• Haley hurt her ankle and left the feild crying, it might be sprained :(.
• AND yeah i think that is it.
• I LOVE OUR TEAM
• OH coach has some people playing new spots. He has me playing center offensisve midfield. WHICH i hated our first game. but i am LOVING it now.

Yeah pretty much. OH we got cool t-shirts for our team. they slam football on the back and say that soccer is better.

Cookies

WELL, its soccer time so i am selling cookies again. If i sell 20, then i get a sweatshirt, and my bag free, for $15 you can get three punds of cookie dough, that are already fomred. you just gotta set them in the oven. They are made in to 48 1oz. cookies.

Basketball

Well basketball is done. I'm not sharing our record, because it wasn't anything good. but our season was fun. We had ups and downs, some MAJOR ups and downs. Some GOOD victories and some MISERABLE loses. But I think overall despite our losing record, we made great progress.
Last year we were undefeated with a team of 16 girls, and this year we had 8. We lost some average players, and our top two. Our point guard Shar'Rae, and a post, Dani. So i had to learn to bring the ball up better and some ppl had to move down to post. It was a tiring season too.

Next year we gain Dani back. YAY!

Our last game of the season was very interesting!

It was against Grand Rapids Central, a basically all black school, with lots attitude.
WE showed up and it was kinda scary. i'm not going into detail it will take to long.

ANYWAYS, we got playing it was a very different game. This is a Class A school too, and int he first quater we weren't staying up with themm. 2nd quater we came back and kept with them. kelly and jessica Arrasmith fouled out during the 3rd quater. And so we had 6 girls left 3 of which could foul out any time, and my coach had threats of a technical. In th e fourth quater we were down by six, then tied it up, and then lost by 4 points. My coach told me to go foul a girl to stop the clock and this girl had an atitude so i went up behind, and got a reach. so the girl wasn't happy and we started fighting (no punches) and the ref came over and talked to us, and told us to cool off and stuff. but we ended up loosing. I twould have been by 4 but the ref said relax on the free thorw which means there is 2 shots, well there was only 1 so we missed the rebound and they made another shot. there by losing by 4.
But Soccer is starting now. i REally miss basketball, and my team. half are playing soccer. the other softball, o r nothing at all. Basketball has kept me busy. i don't know how often i can post.
